I earn £18,470 p/a and have £2,500 deposit. Is anyone likely to accept me for a £25,000 loan over 7 years? I am 48 years old and live with my elderly auntie.

Thanks,
Norman.

I've got a porch on the front of my house and it never cost anything near £25k

Have you thought of saving for several years till you can afford something even if it is not quite what you think you want?

Till then may I suggest you catch a bus or buy a bike
I started with nothing and I am proud to say I still have most of it left.

I may just be suspicious by nature, but why would you mention that your auntie was elderley !!!

I think the hidden message hear is

'I live with my elderley aunty, who hasnt got all that long left, and when she kicks the bucket, i will get an inheritance and pay the loan off'

Message to elderley aunty.....sleep with one eye open !!!!!
