Widescreen images on non widescreen monitor

I'm using a non widescreen monitor. With a lot of sites the continue/next button or usefull information is placed on the far right, meaning I am constantly moving the page to the left. Is this due to my settings or just the result of website builders only designing sites for widescreen use.
On the top right of this site, Bookmark this site, is, Bo, on my monitor.
The mse site is ok to use like this, but others which require form filling are a pain.
If page builders centralised next/continue buttons, using their pages would be much easier.

It works fine on my 4x3 monitor and it sounds like you are zoomed in too much. Easily done by mistake and easily corrected
Method 1
In Firefox and Internet Explorer using control and + will zoom in and Control and - will zoom out. In IE at the bottom left it shows how much zoom you have.
Method 2
In Firefox and Internet Explorer using Control and the mouse wheel up/Down will zoom in/out.
Method 3
Select View>Zoom>Reset or Control and 0 in Firefox
or View>Zoom>100% in IE
No doubt other browsers are a variation on these themes

After zooming out on some pages the font is too small to read. Can I increase the font size after zooming out?0

You could look into your browser's font options. Set the browser to ignore font sizes set by web pages. That might helpError! - Keyboard not attached. Press any key to continue.0
