I've just received all my bargains from my first session on Ebay,I've spent loads but I'm very happy.
I went shopping for baby stuff and grabbed some brilliant bargains, plus one I never meant to  but I got carried away.
Hubby uses it a lot but I've always been a bit wary of getting stung...............I'm happy to say I will be shopping there again, keep putting the bargains up,I'll keep shopping:D
My best bargains
baby monitors
bottle warmer
cot bedding
...........................oh and a few toys:rolleyes:

Looks like you have been bitten by the eBay bug....you'll be a happy seller in a couple of months when you don't need the baby stuff anymore.0 -
She's not arriving for two months yet ,just getting prepared..................but I might just be tempted now to try selling.you never know...............I must admit I enjoyed it while it lasted, the spending buzz:DLongDongDave wrote:Looks like you have been bitten by the eBay bug....you'll be a happy seller in a couple of months when you don't need the baby stuff anymore.0 -
I have actually found selling highly addictive:eek:
You get to see how many people are 'watching' your item which is encouraging, last week I gained approx £18 from selling clothes my children have grown out of/never worn (I know I'm not very good at moneysaving with kids clothes)
I wouldn't have got anywhere netr that money from anywhere else. I would recommend starting off isting about 10 items, I have listed the odd 2 items previously & never got anything, the more you list I think the more chance of people viewing what else you are selling.
Go for it & report back so we can share notes (I currently have 2 items with bds on & 6 watchers!)

Hello Mini,
I was like you started off selling a few bits and pieces and then got hooked!
First I cleared out the childrens clothing, then some of my things as I used to be a bit of a hoarder and actually still had things in my wardrobe unworn and tagged that I bought years ago...sold that as retro and it went well.
Now I can't go shopping without looking at stuff that I think has a profit in it for ebay!
I don't sell huge amounts, possibly 10 15 items a week, sometimes more if I have a good selling item like i did just before Christmas. I log into ebay all the time just to see the bids and watchers. Isn't it disappointing though when occasionally an item has lots of watchers but goes unsold....

Hi trafalgar
good luck with it, i started out buying on ebay, progressed to selling and have now moved on to selling via my own website becuase i liked it so much, still use ebay though as it helps to drum up trade.
If you are thinking of selling i would set up sellers paypal account seperate from your buying account for clarity and ease of use, i know there has been a bit of trouble with paypal doing charge backs but i have never been affected, also offer cheques and postal orders as method of payment, I also offer bank transfer and some people do use this, if you offer more ways of accepting payment i find you entice people to buy
Good luck with buying/selling and the little one when it arrives
