Halifax - MasterCard Secure

Hi All,
Anyone else having issues with Halifax & MasterCard Secure?
They have made updates to the system which now means that you don't have to use a password.
Now, whenever I've attempted to use my card on a retail site (Next & Thomson on this occasion) they have declined the payment even though they can see it was authorised. They decline the transaction due to the fact that I'm not putting in a password on the secure section, even though it does not ask for the password.
Very frustrating, Halifax are saying it's not them at fault and the Next/Thomson are saying it's a fault with the bank.

That's interesting. I wondered why I haven't been able to pay Next with my Halifax card lately.
It's been 2 or 3 months now.
I had also noticed that I wasn't being asked for a password online.
Thanks for clearing that up!
I agree - it's frustrating.0 -
Ive had a similar issue with both my Halifax and Natwest Mastercard credit cards. The page for securecode comes up, but then disappears before I get the chance to enter my password. The strange thing is, is that none of my payments are declined, they still go through, even though I havent entered anything. Its very odd, and kind of defeats the object of having it in the first place!Debt free and staying that way! :beer:0
