Hello,
I have taken photos of the meters on a regular basis since I moved into a house. The photos below are a year apart. Can you please tell me what is my annual usage of gas and electricity so I can input the details into a comparison site.

Thanks

In both cases, simply ignore the red numbers.
So, about 500 cubic meters of gas, and 1500 electric.

for future reference though : take the old reading from the new one and that will give you your used figure.ie 52276 take away 50826 gives you 1450 so put that into the comparison site.

And my next question was how to work out how much it has been costing me - thanks for the link.

How on earth would anyone here magically know what tariff you are on and what company supplies you.......:D

OH wait the crystal ball is now working but it seems to think you should feed your cat so maybe it has developed a fault again.

Obviously I would have supplied more details if I needed to ask that.....but I did not need to as epresso had provided a link, as you can see I thanked him for it:rotfl::wall:

OK - You have a Metric Gas meter that has recorded 468 units over a year. Each unit delivers appx. 11.2 chargeable Kwh, so you will be billed for 5242 Kwh - Your Elect meter units are Kwh, so you will be billed for 1450 Kwh.

Visit 'switchwithwhich' - Pop in your present supplier and the tariff you are on, then taking care to use the drop down menus to enter your Kwh figures for a year, let them do the calculations

On the list of suppliers and prices, each supplier has a 'Compare' icon, hit this and a screen comes up with the fine detail and prices of that suppliers tariff, directly alongside the detail and prices of your present supplier

Your annual use of Gas & Elec is very low compared to most people, so when you get used to the 'switchwithwhich' site, it's probably worth exploring the option of getting Gas from one supplier and the Elec from another.
