changing the fuse on Rangemaster Toledo cooker/oven

Help, please. I probably sound a bit daft.. but I can't seem to locate the fuse for the cooker/oven. one of the light bulbs on the hood of the cooker blew and consequently blew the fuse as well (I think). I have replaced the light bulb, but there is still no light and the fan doesn't work either. I think I may have blown the fuse. I don't know where the fuse is located. I have reset the main fuse for the cooker (in the garage) but that doesn't seem to do it. where could the plug & fuse for the cooker be???

Try pulling the cooker forward and look behind it, follow the cable and you should locate it's connection point. If it has a plug, then the fuse can be located inside the plug top.
  • Thanks! I will give it a try
  • Do a continuity test on the new bulb, the bulb and fan may be in series. If the bulb goes the fan won't work. Is it a dual fuel gas hob leccy oven, all gas or all electric, if all gas, the main plug fuse may have blown, as it would only be supplying light/fan/ignition it wont be a big fuse.
  • its a dual fuel--gas hob and electric oven.
  • Does the oven still work/igniter still work, as I said previously, check you havent replaced with a damaged bulb.
