The GAA has a tradition of having an 'all family' support base, where football and other sports are Dads only, or Dads and sons etc. I live closeby to a GAA pitch which is a pain at times but I only have to look at the people streaming towards the grounds to see that Mums, Grandma and the whole lot are going and enjoying the match. So I think it's disgusting that there's violence breaking out at various GAA matches recently, and I think the culpits should be identified and prosecuted. That picture breaks my heart, the mum shielding the son says it all.0

What had your *only* thread on 'how do i get my engagement ring back' got to do with moneysaving?
It was an ethical issue, not a moneysaving one.
Incorrect. Try reading the thread again. As a hint try concentrating on the part where I say... "be able to sell it to try to recoup some of the money I spent on it". Let me know if you need any more help with this.0 -

In football if we scatter someone we help them up, in GAA its "To hell with you" Respect is missing.
Was it Les Dawson who used to say "I'm not racist, but..."

Still an ethical question, not a moneysaving one.
Let me know if you need any more help with the ethics of that situation.
Back to your initial question - its an NI board, we can talk about what we want - or do you just not like the subject content on this one?
Clarification on what the N.I board is for

Who cares? It saves us all money as they don't want the PSNI to police their grounds.0
