GAA & Football can learn an awful lot from rugby, where the referee is called Sir and treated with the utmost of respect. The fans can mingle side by side and partake in some friendly banter which rarely/never gets out of hand, and the teams (even up to international level) form a tunnel at the end of a game to applaude their opponents off the field and give 3 cheers.:j Norn Iron Club Member No. 343 :j0

I totally agree. I wonder is all this fighting a Cultchy thing?? :rotfl:0 -
No it is because the rugby players come from a good background, were educated in grammar schools where they learned good manners and discipline and they only turn into utter thugs when blootered on a Saturday night! :rotfl::rotfl:0

Whilst there is some truth in this, I have to beg to differ on some points, i was bought up in a working class area in Belfast and whilst I was fortunate enough to get a grammar school education, I know a lot of people who attended high schools and were introduced to rugby at their local club's mini/youth section.:j Norn Iron Club Member No. 343 :j0 -
