But you've already said you do know which couriers delivered yesterday, so you can contact each of these.0 -

I can be guilty of skim-reading too.
OP - when you contacted the couriers did you say what were the contents of the package?0 -
I know some of them - I've contacted the ones I know.0

No - I want to be sure they know so I know it really is theirs.0

get a phone out, get the IMEI number off the side and call the network if its a network branded phone or call the manufacturer of the phone - the IMEI should be tracked who it was sold to at least.0

Guys,
To get back on topic, I am pretty sure at some point someone is going to work out that these are missing, and eventually they will come and get them. I've given reasonable endeavour to find the owner, and have contacted the police. I've got a real job to do, and finding the owner of stray post isn't part of it.
What I want to know is what liability I have in the meantime in case they get damaged or worse. As I said, I don't really have anywhere to store them, they are in the way of my business, they aren't adequately secured (I'm pretty sure my insurance is going to get nowhere near covering if we had a break in). Any ideas?0 -
