Debt written off after six years?

No, paulmapp, people like her are NOT the reason that the Banks are in a mess.
The Banks were and are the reason......as is borne out by the fact that her current Bank haven't done their homework in opening up new accounts for her!
Having said that, what she is doing is wrong and she could quite easily be accused of fraud ( or at least deliberately avoiding her debts) by any of the CReditors who could be bothered to do so.
So your telling me "bad debt" isnt one of the reasons the word banks arnt in a mess?
its one of the main causes. Yes the banks may not have done their homework but equally she may not have had any issues in her past at that point. now she has - now the banks have a bad debt and as a consequence cant lend it to others (so have to make the criterea harder) or cant cover their books (so cant lend any more).
She (well not JUST her obviously - but all the peopl like her combined) are just as big a reason as the banks having a lending policy that was too easy.0 -
This past year she has bought the kids get brand new phones each, laptops, taken them on holiday to see her family in Europe three times. Last christmas, she bought them brand new DS, a Wii and lots of games, clothing.paulmapp8306 wrote: »Big bag of worms. From you first post it seems some are still tracing her as shes "deliberately failing" their security questions on the phone.
What she means is "i have kids and they want stuff".
She thinks I am mean, not spending lots of money on my kids. But, I don't have the money, and I can not afford to go into debt to pay for christmas. Now, I realise she did go into debt for it.Trying to live my life, learning to be frugal, and be happy :j0
