Do they still send them?
Mine expires end of Nov, nothing yet. Can I still renew on line without the ref number of the reminder? Not urgent though as there's still 2 weeks to go.

Yes, they usually send them about 2 weeks before your current tax expires, so you should get yours any day now

They are normally sent out right at the start of the renewal month, and have a warning on them that the code cannot be used until a certain date.

i had one last week.

you can do it online without the reminder, it tells you which reference number you need when you're doing it.

MIne came on Thursday. I renewed online the same day and the disc arrived yesterday.
