Hi, I would like to join too, please. I haven't had any work for the last couple of months (work as temp - although, to be fair I haven't pushed for any as my grandma has had a fall & needed a lot of help.) However, I am probably going to have to look for something in the new year, as the company DH works for is not doing very well at the moment. So, all in all need some support & encouragement to keep going!!!
  • Hi everyone

please count me in for 2012 It has really helped this year to make me more aware of my spending and where the money is going so I intend to continue as I like my new frugal lifestyle :D

Thanks for the gift in a jar link, bought a kilo of mixed buttons and some elastic threads for £5 for DD1 for xmas for her to make button jewellery - she loves doing this and gives them to her friends for b'days nice cheap gift to add to the pile. I have done hampers for xmas - sweeties for nieces/nephews from approved foods and homemade jam, xmas pud, marmalade, mincemeat truffles, fudge etc for adults. Had a NSD today yay

  • Is there a budget limit? or do you all just try and save as much as you can and sort of do things as cheaply as possible?
