We did have a lovely evening, good old gossip, bottle of wine which my friend bought over. When she came to go she said "U can keep the rest of the wine" but the bottle was already empty!!
I am finally ready for xmas, all wrapped, shopped and done AND RELAX!
I am having lunch with some girl friends tomorrow which is an extravagance but I view it as an xmas treat, don't do it very often any more. And it will defintely cost less than I would have spent on going out last night, probably less than taxies actually let alone the money I would have spent on booze!Mum to 2 DSs, dog mum, wife full-time worker.

Oh dear cost free xmas didn't go well, i spent £45 on superdrug, but i got over £160 worth of stuff!!! But i have a boots card with £38 and the sainburys card qith £10 so i'll use them for medicine and shopping and blance it out for myself
All i need come xmas next year now is some mens gifts, i'm thinking poundland smellies and chocolates and a £3 primark t-shirt each so i need to gather up £25 in vouchers before then so still completely doable
then food ofcourse which acually we won't be here so only say £20 on sholer and nibbles.
Spent £74 on next yesterday, bought the kids an angrybirds hoody each which will come from the clothing budget but be birthday pressies later in the year, they were half price, then i got lured in my a lovely patchwork throwbut i'll be returning it instore as i really don't need it and it was an impulse buy if ever there was one!!
Frugal wise i spent pretty much all day in bed with a pounding head and i bought some tissues and painkillers in town, i was going to get iboprohen in boots but it's 40p for 1 box where as poundland do 3 for £1 so guess where i wenttreated the sicky child to a packet of peppa pig pocket tissues from poundland, 8 packs for £1 they would make good stocking fillers.

with the first one being the version that should definitely work in Open Office as well as older versions of Excel. The second one may as well, as I'm not sure what version of what I'm running on this laptop, and haven't stopped to check/play other than updating them for 2013
Thank you soooooo much for these links, it is very much appreciated. :beer:DS 17 yearsDD 16 years DS 5 years

Hope everyone had a good Christmas Day, and the holidays are good ones for them.
I fell off the ladder big time this year, and have things on a Credit card, that I couldnt actually pay off this month. So I am going to have to start all over again with the new year and get back on track.
At least I have everything i need, and the fuel bills were in Credit at the beginning of December.
The foods fairly well stocked still.
I also overspent on Clothes towards the end of the year. So I hope that I will be a bit less impulsive and stop buying clothes unless they are needed and not just wanted! When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
