Wow no post on here today. Has that happened before? Very quiet.
So today I was back at work and took my lunch and will do for the rest of the week. Also had planned tea. We had vegan shepherds pie, veg and beetroot with side salad. Delicious. Will take some tomorrow for lunch.
Tomorrows tea will be pizza, jacket potatoes and salad.
Trying to be more organized and hopefully writing it down will keep me focussed and save money in the long run
I've also got plans to declutter one of my food cupboards which is so full I can hardly close the doors but...I have no idea what's in there aside from what I can see at the front, ridiculous! Most of it's tins and will keep but going to see if I can get them down.
I can feel an urge to do a mass declutter creeping up on me.
Think it may be a good idea to join the decluttering thread too.
Hope everyone is okay.

This has absolutely nothing to do with this thread or that quote. I just had to say that I had to do a double take on your avatar as I have a picture somewhere of my old dog(RIP) doing the exact same thing! Even looks similar :rotfl:May Grocery Challenge : 64.81 so far

My new lodgers in the jungle. Here dead we lie because we did not choose
To live and shame the land from which we sprung.
Life, to be sure, is nothing much to lose,
But young men think it is,
And we were young.

Its my parents Golden wedding and my brother and I have offeredto organise an event to celebrate.... We have agreed to share a budget of £500 and we thought we would take them to their favourite restaurant with all their brothers and sisters to celebrate ,,,,, so thats 17 people at £23.99 each (£407.83) plus wine at £19.95 a bottle.
Neither of us can afford to stretch the budget as we have both recently had a huge drop in income. I'm going to hand make the invitations and DB will bake a cake but I wondered if any of you have any good mse ideas for how else we can make the event special on such a tight budget? All ideas would be really welcome.
Thanks
Have u foned the restaurant, see if they could do a reduced set menu, or a discount due to the amount of people.
I was going to suggest a small party in a little hall but you've already answered that.Living Simply, not simply living.Weight Loss - 5b/55lb

Oh my word Ruby. Just beautiful...
I feel so sorry for urban foxes. We're building on so much green land that they're 'forced' into cities, were, given half a chance, they'd really rather not be. If I'm out late picking up one or the other of the clan, I'll sometimes see a fox up the road. They are wonderful looking animals.HappyTorty wrote: »Aww no sorry to hear thatsucks doesnt it? xxxx

Don't apologise Happy torty, we like general chat too. It keeps us going
Sorry to hear of your little one. That sounds like our little Jack. When they look at you with those doe eyes, you can't refuse them anything.
Took lunch into work today as planned but didn't make tea. Got home and went straight to bed with a squiffy tummy. OH sorted tea out.
I haven't planned what I'm taking tomorrow though. Might just grab a tin of spaghetti hoops...mmmm, healthy (rolly eyes here)
