Sorry to hear you're still feeling down Purple. Did you have a try at the guided meditations on y*u tube?
Maybe just at this moment in time your body is giving you a little time out. In a strange way it could be just what you need without realising it.

Hello all
not posted for a while as been upto tother stuff (eg college assignments) but have still been living as cheaply as poss. got a casserole in the slow cooker for tonight, will make dumplings later on, and it should last us for another two meals. Having a steak indoors tomorrow as a treat (no rip off valentine meals for us this year!!) and I have made OH a card.
I usually trot over to cambr*dge and get my bird seed but have ordered it on line and saved £5 per bag (bought two big uns) and the same savings on my peanuts bag (was going to put nuts but decided better not!!) and no charge for delivery. So I saved myself 3 hours, £15 plus diesel and wear and tear on the car and I always buy some other essential rubbish!!
when the email confirmation came through, I saved an additional £6 as first time order offer. Am well chuffed and the little cheeky feathery pests will be well fed.
right am off now to make sausage quiche and a cake......SPC Nbr.... 1484....£800 Saved £946 in 2013)
(£1,010 in 2014)

Where is this sunny Suffolk you talk about mishmogs, its certainly not where I live! I'm in mid Suffolk and its drizzling and cold but at least the snow is getting cleared a bit. I have worked out that you must live the other side of Bury if you trot off to Cambridge because from where I live its more than a trot.
I'm busy Marmalade making as usual, can more or less do it with my eyes closed now! at last count I have made more than a hundred jars in the last few weeks since Seville Oranges have been in season which will all be sold during the year. Last year I could have sold many many more than I made so am being prepared this time.
Ive been feeling a bit low since yesterday, not sure why but its getting near to the anniversary of my daughters death so it just might be that. I have also just come from hospital where I see the Physio and every part of my body aches at the moment. Think an early night might do me a lot of good.Keep to £400 a month on C/C.

Must try and keep an eye on some of my spending, as I have not had a lot of temp work. Have been applying for permanent work. Will have to try some other agencies. Got a cheque for a tax refund.
Got my Mum some nice roses(3 bunches) from the local market on Saturday for £5, as it is her birthday today. Also got her an M&S voucher.
Sending hugs to those who need them at the moment.Frugal Living Challenge 2025 Mortgage free as of 1st August 20130 -
Hi all,
Just saying hello before I watch Super Scrimpers!
Purple - sorry to hear you're still feeling so low. Take care of yourself x
Not much to report - got a few whoopsies at Sainsbugs yesterday and worked out that with my voucher and multibuy offers I 'saved' £13. I didn't really save tho - I spent what I would have spent but got a few more items than usual;)
Got a couple more whoopsies at the local Spar today too so now have an overload of sausages!!
Did a mystery shop today and got part of DD1's birthday present with the spending fee, so very pleased. It was at her favourite shop, so that was handy! It's DSiL birthday tomorrow and he's getting some regifted posh chocs, lol.
Take care all xOfficial DFW nerd - 282 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts'
