Mods if this is in the wrong section please move it to a better one.
On 25th May 2006 I bought a Toshiba Portege M400 Tablet PC from Savastore.com after the DVD-RAM going and sending it to Toshiba to get fix the PC was ok then in November time I started to notice this imprints, after paying out over £1,300 am not going to harm it. There is dust under the screen, imprints on both screen and keyboard/touchpad area. And the Memory Stick reader is not working.
Of course Toshiba Repair Centre says that everything is working and the imprints and the dust under the screen is normal wear and tear. Hold on a minute I have used the Tablet fuctionaly for less then 1 hour and if the screen is a sealed unit how can dust get in.
At the minute it looks like Toshiba is stonewalling me. My brother has the same problems with his M400. So atm Toshiba is going to get both systems into their workshops to look at them. If they dont do anything I believe that I can go back to savastore.com and say that I dont want the systems under the sales of goods act. Because this is the 1st year of a 3 year warrenty and if this is want Toshiba is at, I want out. I have already contacted Trading Standards and they said that I can do this.
What do you all think about the Customer Service I revicved from Toshiba.
