Canon sd600 (ixus 60!)

Hope someone can help!

Currently looking at purchasing a new digital camera. Like the look of the Canon Ixus 60 which I have seen on Amazon at about £158, it also came up on ebay(quite a bit cheaper and with a 1 gB card) but as sd 600 with Ixus 60 in brackets.

The camera is shipped from the UK but is it from the USA ? is there any difference? I have had a look on the spec but can't see anything.
As you can see I'm not too well up on this kind of thing.

I think they are both basically the same camera.
Known as the Ixus60 in the UK and the PowerShot SD600 in USA

Just wondering then because practically they are the same camera will it make any difference if I buy an american camera for use in the UK? says it has Uk warranty.

If it say's it has a UK warranty, then it will, otherwise it would be in breach of the trade description
