CPU settings

Hi when I boot up I get a warning message.
CPU or CPU ratio has changed.
Please re-enter CPU settings in the set up.

I can press F1 and windows starts ok.
How do I fix this problem.
Cheers.

I have a dell Pen4 pc. I had to get a new motherboard installed. Its a Jetway P4MDPT. Local shop installed it.

If it's that new I'd guess the battery is OK, but the CMOS settings might have been screwed up by a power surge or something; I've occasionally had PCs forget their settings before. Have you tried resetting the CPU options in the BIOS setup and seeing if they stay there next time you reboot?
