Nothing is better than Seabrook's Straight Cut Cheese & Onion. It is just a pity that they succumbed to the gimmicky crinkle cuts like nearly everyone else.
  • I did email them my thoughts but just got the standard reply

I am sorry that you have had a bad experience with our Goodbye Salt Hello Flavour” range. As a new product we have found it appeals to many consumers but is not for everybody’s palate.

We are always continuing to improve our brand and its flavours, and we are always looking for new flavours, so keep your eye out for any new flavours coming to the shelves.

All feedback is valued here at Seabrook Crisps and I will ensure your comments are passed through to the management.

Wouldnt have minded a voucher so i could have got some normal crisps :(

Oh well, good luck selling those Seabrooks! I expect them to disappear to slowly die off through lack of sales.
I passed out remaining packs in work and not one single person liked them! :rotfl:
  • Goodbye flavour, hello salt is needed here?

My and my boyfriend got some last night, during a midnight shopping trip to Mr T, I actually said to him "Goodbye salt, Goodbye flavour" We then poured a bit salt in and gave them a shake, like Salt n Shake crisps, but I definitely won't be buying them again! And I usually love most crisps...
Saving as much as possible to replace all the things I've had years and are on their way to the knackers yard
  • Yep, these are truly disgusting. We bought them when they first came out, and ended up giving them away to people at work. I'm surprised they passed the taste-test that presumably would have happened before they went to market!

Seabrooks goodbye salt hello flavour crisps ...................Very likely coming to a Home Bargains store near you in the not too distant future .........probably for 5p a bag!
  • We tried them at the Yorkshire Show and I said to the girl... You won t have people turning up for seconds. Totally revolting and never tasted anything like them ... I can t believe they re still making them... perhaps its the marmite effect
  • they are disgusting, luckily got mine free. There is a reason why there is salt in crisps - taste - they are truly horrible, how did they get past the taste test man or woman - obviously had no taste buds!!
