Has anyone ever stayed at either the Marilena Hotel in Crete or the Hotel Hawaii in Mallorca?
My parents have been offered a fortnight's free holiday and can choose to stay at either of those two resorts. It's on a half board basis so any good and easy to get to eateries nearby would be helpful too. I have a leaflet from each hotel but they don't really tell me very much.
They both have minor mobility problems so I'd like to find out how easy the hotels are to get to from the nearest airport (departing from Edinburgh), what local transport is like, things to do in the area. They wouldn't enjoy lying by a pool or on the beach for days on end so there would need to places of interest they can access/visit etc.
Thanks

Hotel Hawaii..is in a flat resort with plenty of places to eat around it although so places would mean a slight walk uphill. Its between Palma Nova and Magaluff ( Torrenova) so the time of year they went would be important too certain times would be alot busier than others.

Also it would be easy to hire scooters for getting around if they need it from DESPERADO'S HIRE SHOP (Terry)
Jakiton Square, Torrenova (opposite Don Paco Hotel)

Thanks for the map. My mum can just about steer a supermarket trolley; I don't think she'd be too good on a scooter.
