M&S interest free period

When does the interest free period start? The moment you apply for the card or when you activate the card?
It took M&S at least 3-4 weeks to get me my card from the day I apply for it, if they start counting from the day I apply, it will be 14 months rather than 15 months interest free period...
Anyone knows? Thanks.

Most interest free periods start from the date the account is built (when your T's & C's are signed and returned and the card is generated). So it's not from the day you apply or the day you activate the card, its inbetween.''Before you diagnose yourself with depression or low self-esteem, first make sure that you are not, in fact, just surrounded by a$$holes.'' :whistle:0

It's from the moment your credit is agreed.0

I got my 'Congratulations on your application' email on 16/03, I've recently been in touch with M&S money to clarify the end date for my offer. They stated my account was opened on 24/03.
I pretty sure it took a while longer before I got my card.0 -

Usually from the day the account is "opened", which is after the application has been approved (obviously), but before the card gets dispatched, let alone activated.I've recently been in touch with M&S money to clarify the end date for my offer.
Just do the same and take a note of date, time, operator spoken to and the information given.
That stops all guesswork!0 -
