Our Company Policy on Disabled Parking

Our Company Policy on Disabled Parking
- We do not penalise the vehicles of disabled badge holders at any time.
- We do not penalise the vehicles of disabled badge holders for staying over the time limit allowed by the client.
- If no valid disabled badge is on display and a parking charge is issued to the vehicle, then this will automatically be cancelled on the production of a copy of the owner's blue badge.

Except that it's not a "fine" and (as a private company) they cannot "penalise" anyone. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

Brilliant they have confirmed in writing their wholly unlawful policy.
It's been said here so many times but here we go again the facts
1) The car park operator is obliged in law to provide those disabled spaces as a "reasonable adjustment" by virtue of The Equality Act.
2) ANY person who is disabled as defined by the Act is entitled in law to use those spaces.
3) it is entirely possible to be disabled as defined in the Act and yet still not qualify for a blue badge.
In summary :-
THE BLUE BADGE SCHEME DOES NOT APPLY TO DISABLED SPACES ON PRIVATE CAR PARKS -ANY ATTEMPT TO ENFORCE IT IS UNLAWFUL.0 -
They don't penalise anybody, instead send out lovely invoices.
I dream of the day a disabled person takes a supermarket all the way to court under the Equalies act0 -

totally, to any blue badge holders , if you get a PCN from UKPC, use those 3 points as proof to stop the charges
No, slight correction:
If you get a fake PCN from UKPC just ignore it.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

No!!You have missed the point entirely.
These spaces can be used by ANY disabled person not just blue badge holders ..that is the law backed by an Act of Parliament despite what the parking company tell you.
PS These muppets don't even have the brains to grasp how the blue badge scheme actually operates , hence they say"If no valid disabled badge is on display and a parking charge is issued to the vehicle, then this will automatically be cancelled on the production of a copy of the owner's blue badge."
O is that right UKPC ? The owner has to be the holder ..so I can't park in a blue badge bay when my blue badge holding grandfather is my passenger ???
Beneath contempt....this lot ..clearly their IQ is no bigger their shoe size.0 -
Mumbo jumbo claptrap, their whole website is full of it. When it only really needs to say. You don't have to pay but we would love it if you did!0
