Igo4 limited

Hi I will try and give the best account of what has happened today.

I received a letter in the post today 14th November from Premium credit saying that my Direct Debit was canceled and that they hope I wish to continue paying by DD, and to phone by the 17th November to give my details or my running account would be canceled and this could lead to cancellation of my insurance policy, I phoned up to give details or my new account but they informed me that Igo4 Limited had canceled my account with them so they could not take payment so I was advised to phone them to sort it out. I phoned Igo4 Limited to give my new DD details but they said they have canceled my policy and i owe them the remainder of the policy and fees for cancellation, I said but I have letters saying nothing would happen till the 17th November he replied no we have sent a letter out on the 3rd November saying if you did not sort out a DD within 7 days we would cancel your policy, I told him that I never got a letter from them saying that. I also said the only correspondence were the letters from Premium Credit, all saying that this needed to be sorted by the 17th, he says let me talk to my line manager he comes back and says there is nothing he could do for me. I asked to talk to the line manege he said sorry he just gone into a meeting and there was nobody else I could talk to but he will talk to him again and phone me back. When he phones back he says after talking to his line manager again the best he can do is take off their fee's as long as I pay the remainder of the policy, (I did not want to pay any thing). So I say ok I will pay whats left he then tells me to phone the people I 1st phoned and sort it out to them. I phone but they know nothing of it and say I owe them nothing but to phone Igo4 I phone Igo4 go over the whole lot again to be told yes sir I can take payment from you here ok I think its going to be sorted but no he tells me the whole amount with fees I tell him what has gone on he say the best he can do is take full payment then take it off of a new policy I don't want to have a new policy with them but I am unable to find anyone to complain too. Please help, what should I do and who can I complain too?

Do whatever you can to prevent the policy being cancelled!

Otherwise you will have to disclose this cancellation for evermore when applying for insurance and most companies will refuse to quote you, leaving you having to go with specialist (expensive) companies who deal with hard to place customers.

Best to try and reach a manager to get this sorted quickly. But if necessary you can complain via their official "complaints" procedure which will be set out in your policy.
  • Quentin thanks for you advise

I spent the all night last night on the phone to them and was unable to get to talk to a manager, I keep getting told was I can try and help you as all managers was busy or that I can pass on a message to them for you, I will try again to day I the hope I can get hold of a manager, but if I can not guess I will need to phone their Quality Manager at BDML connect
