ba strike and lounges

flying with first choice from gatwick on tuesday , the day BA are meant to be striking , any tips on upgrading to use lounges at airport ? as i can see every seat may be taken outside in normal waiting areas

Once you get airside it might well be quite quiet as not many ba flights will be operating from lgw. (only those operated by GB airways and 6 longhaul flights will go) So i'd not worry too much about a lack of space, just enjoy a bit more!

The only way you'll be able to get into the BA lounge if flying with First Choice is by being a BA Gold card member, otherwise they are not letting you in, end of story.

BTW BA lounge in LGW is in North Terminal, don't know where First Choice fly from (I think its north, but can't remember).

There is a Servicair or Aviance lounge there you can pay entry for (about £12 I think), however LGW North is actually a decent little terminal. I would say rather than paying for the lounge, treat yourself to a nice meal at Chez Gerrard.
