    My daughter stayed there, said it was absolutely awful. She swears there was someone wondering round the corridors with a gun.

    Perhaps it was the ' security guard ' wondering where to wander ;)

    In the summer its strictly 18-30s.Very noisy and loutish. Im sure Thomsons advise this.

    Other times its fine and suitable for families. We stayed next door one April in Rebecca apts which share facilities. Had a very enjoyable week.

    To be honest, for a family holiday, I wouldn't go anywhere near Americas in July or August.
