Hi
I have recently acquired a Freecom FX-1 external cdrw. My question is can I remove the cdrw drive from the housing (which is quite easy to do) and replace it with a spare hard disk I have to create an external usb drive?
Will windows recognise it andwill this work?
Any thoughts much appreciated
Cheers

Yes it should work. It would have been quicker to try it rather than posting on here!
