  • Having a nose at other Kitchenaid stuff just now.

Why would someone pay £400 for a mixer? What does it do better than regular mixers?

Genuinely curious as the baking gene bypassed me :(

i cant describe it. i pined for our one when the parents took it with them, and considering they moved abroad (to a bloody country where your oven is colder than your kitchen!) that shows how much she wanted to keep it with her.

it makes everything so much easier. so much better than other kinds too.

not sure i can justify it at 180 when id have to spend the extra. arrrgggggghhhhhhh. ive been waiting all !!!!!!!g week for this and now its more than im willing to pay!!!!!!!!! sodding !!!!!!!s!

for those of you who didn't get the kitchenaid, check the offers on Kenwood at Amazon. The chef classic is at £160 and the premier at £199 ;) I know they don't look quite as pretty, but...

    classic: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Kenwood-Classic-Kitchen-Machine-Silver/dp/B000Q7ZCFK/

    premier:http://www.amazon.co.uk/Kenwood-Premier-KMC560-Kitchen-Machine/dp/B000PMLGQU/

    Edit: links now working!
Now free from the incompetence of vodafail
  • i was getting nagged 'play with me mummy play with me mummy'. untill i pointed out what it was i was in waiting list trying to buy. now he's being a bit more patient. baby isnt though.
  • Where does it tell you what number you are on the waiting list, I can't see it anywhere :(

it sometime tells you when you first get put on the list but the no. isn't (always) accurate - at least twice several people here have been told their each no.1 on the list for the same items

The 7.30pm one - "Now that's what we call a deal" is a meal deal for one i.e. personal pizza (no more than 3 toppings), potato wedges and a can of coke.
