Yes, I'm chucking mine back and will buy the one at £49.99. Don't need/want the accessories.0 -
Perfect poached eggs in the pan (according to my cat)
1. break freshest egg possible into a small bowl
2. bring pan of water to a gentle simmer.
3. add a little butter and a couple of drops of vinegar
4. stir water in pan to make a gentle whirlpool
5. Add egg to centre of whirlpool.
Now who is going to have a practice and make me some?I've tried that method a few times before and still can't get it right
I just use the clingfilm method:
1. Put clingfilm loosely over a cup, then push it part-way in, making a dip large enough for the egg.
2. Crack the egg into the dip.
3. Carefully lift out of the cup, twisting the clingfilm above the egg, so you've made a little bag.
4. Boil in saucepan (I use a spoon to hold the clingfilm onto the side of the pan)
5. Enjoy!
Basically a boiled egg without a shell, but it's bloody good on toast!0 -

I know about that method, but I have a poaching pan so it pretty much does the same job.
The missus is out tonight, poached eggs might be on the menu, haha0 -
