As a side note, i bought some bits a couple of weeks ago from amazon.com - you pay them at checkout for import duties and the like, so you pay up front - which is much better than wondering how much the postie will charge you at your door! - They can charge you in GBP too, but the % mark-up is a bit higher than if I pay in USD with my credit card (only 0.5% difference though)

Thank you! That's very useful to know.

Anyone know what Idiot Abroad went for yesterday?

£14.97, mine showing as despatched, not a single thing arrived yet though
  • Does anyone remember if the DS games yesterday were shown from the start, or if they were added later? Reallly hoping for some good deals on these today.

LOL we have a sandwich van and I've just finished making all the baguettes, including brie and cranberry! I'd send it to you but it might get a bit squished.:D

 Ta, but I'm not allowed soft cheeses, which was fine until the telly box started shoving them in my face. Good news is the DD has woken up so now it's just Peppa Pig on...

Added later I think. I only got them because I stalked this board...

Hmm, loads of TV's etc around lunchtime, but although a new one be nice to replace our 9 year old monster, we don't actually need one as it refuses to die! Might be tempted by the Clogau gold later on for DW's Christmas or birthday present - we have wedding rings in Clogau gold so if its a sensible price it might be a nice idea. Other than that I can see the credit card getting off fairly lightly as for the rest of the week - one set of Famous Five books is all the damage so far. Might get some work done for a while as there's nothing much doing.

  • Woah, that's a good deal on the GHDs!
