If anyone is interested, amazon.com are selling an acer icona a500 16gb tablet later on - current price is USD384, which checks out at £316 - can be found in UK for £300. Could be worth a punt if it goes down to USD300 or lower. I would think that it would be perfectly usable over here.
As a side note, i bought some bits a couple of weeks ago from amazon.com - you pay them at checkout for import duties and the like, so you pay up front - which is much better than wondering how much the postie will charge you at your door! - They can charge you in GBP too, but the % mark-up is a bit higher than if I pay in USD with my credit card (only 0.5% difference though)
edit: should say, this applies to stuff 'sold by amazon export' - which is not everything! Though the a500 above is,0 -
Anyone thinking about the patchy doll DON'T - £7.99 in home bargains!!
Thanks for that I have one in my basket and will now throw it back.'Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.'

Yes that's the same one. It looks nice enough, but it's too big to be a ladies watch
Not sure what the returns policy is but it should be the same as a normal "non black friday" purchase.
Thanks! Looked up the item (and new review... yours?), I don't think my wrists are even 36mm wide, so have requested cancellation of order as it sounds as though I'd only end up sending it back! You were only killing time and it'll kill you right back0 -

LOL we have a sandwich van and I've just finished making all the baguettes, including brie and cranberry! I'd send it to you but it might get a bit squished.:D0
