I think one of the problems this year is Amazon are overpricing things - take the Fulton umbrella at £10, you can get one like it cheaper in plenty of places - supermarkets etc.

The so called "lightening deals" have been a little disappointing this year :(

Maybe they are holding back all the cracking deals until friday, you know the actual Black Friday :D
    :)
  • oh poop.

Just had a phone call from my aunt.
she's at the hospital, after having a fall and hurting her hip. she's awaiting x-rays.

this means that shortly,i shall be leaving Amazon and MSE in your capable paws (the cat will keep an eye on the housemate)

Aww bless her, hope she's alright and not done anything serious. Give her a hug, a fall always shakes you up :(

I remember when I was newly married and my uncle came into my house for the first time. He mocked my paper shades! It was all we could afford for a few rooms. :o I was quite hurt. :rotfl:

Oh, you'll be there all day then if she's still awaiting x-rays. :o

    Hope she is ok.
  • thanks everyone :)

i shall be taking a flask of coffee and travel scrabble to help pass the time.

Of course today would be the day with the Dr Who stuff...
the cat offered to sit at pc and try to get them for me, but there is no way I'm trusting her with account details.
