I thought they had a good reputation from what I have read

I thought that as well. Googling will show lots of people with problems.
Two of my radios that just stopped working were unrepairable, so Pure told me. £100-00 bloody radio's unrepairable.

No they have a bad reputation. I even sent my hi fi back & it came back bad. One of the radios I had went wrong & I was offered a brand new replacement radio at cut price. When it arrived the on off switch didn't work every time, sometimes having to push it several times so I sent it back . Some people will be lucky & get one that works for years but you are lucky if you do.
    Nice to save.
  • My Sat Nav and Rocket Launcher from Monday's Black Friday bargains just arrived! So chuffed! Love a good bargain... At least I don't have to worry about crashing the car with two young kids in it because I was busy trying to navigate using my iphone! :) Happy bargain hunting everyone...

It's supposed to encourage them to drink. A lot of old cats die from renal failure... because they eat dry food and don't get enough water. I can't really think of any other way to encourage cats to drink, it is difficult.... but will it work on my cat? :)

An open toliet seat is also a popular option...lol...ewwww...
  • i think the best bargain i've seen and subsiquently purchased was a pair of etnies that i was actually trying to buy anyway... i was unaware of the black friday sales lol

20 quid down from 40 (and they do normally cost 40)

They don't seem to play with it - just ignore it. The catmate one has three levels on it which was great when we first got it as three of them would drink from it at the same time but they don't do that anymore. My youngest one has more fun pushing the other bowl - one of these where you put water inside and turn it upside down so it dispense while the cat drinks - across the kitchen floor splashing water everywhere!

Hehehe, I'm glad it's not just my cat that knows that trick :) Perhaps if your's likes up turning water bowls and doesn't play in the fountain, there's a small chance mine might behave :)
So so SO tired of being ripped off, and mislead
    Hope sharing saves some pain.

    Now that's a MSE!
Sadly I have caught my cat doing this before :rotfl:- very funny. So I try to keep the toilet seats down.

That Lola rose bracelet is really tempting! Dark blue sandstone or black agate? I've never bought anything from her but i've seen it on qvc.. cheapest thing they sell on qvc of her range is 15 quid plus p&p so this 12 quid seems like a bit of a steal! I suppose black would go with more things!

*giggles* :) I've not caught mine doing that yet, but I have seen cat hairs in the toilet, so I don't put it past him! Fortunately the lid won't stay up, so it's a kind of 'cat safe' toilet! hehehe

  • the SanDisk Sansa clip is back at 1.40pm

(We always have to keep the loo seat down just in case)

(Except for when we're using it, obviously.
    that would be messy)
