Afternoon
A few orders I cancelled yesterday BEFORE dispatch have been deducted from my bank, I know its not a "real charge" and will show back up in my bank after a few days but its just a tad annoying because I may have used that for more bargains... I really must stop adding tat I do NOT want instead of thinking I do until an hour later!! My bank balance is all over the place! lolSave 8k in 2013: Member #100

I am tempted by the Cat mate pet fountain for £19.98 (unless price of the drinkwell platinum later today comes down alot) as it seems to have very good reviews - very quiet and easy to clean. Also has 2 upper bowls for the cat to drink out of. Will have to wait and see...can I convince my OH we need a water fountain?
It does look easier to clean and a bit more fun... there is a video of the platinum on being cleaned on youtube, it looks like a fairly major job. The one on Amazon looks a bit more substantial though, like it might be harder to knock over. I'm dying to know what price it is going to be nowSo so SO tired of being ripped off, and mislead

:j Your order estimated to be delivered
between 13:09-14:09 today :j
Regarding the cat fountains; don't forget to factor in the cost of the filters.
The reason they are better than just a bowl is that many cats prefer to drink from moving water than a static supply. Most domestic cats, especially those that eat dried food, don't take in enough fluids. This can lead to Urinary Tract infections, kidney problems and all sorts of things.
Our kitty actually prefers to drink from next door's pond or puddles of rain water...the more stagnant the better! When we put a bowl of fresh water down, she ignores it for days, or puts dried food in it!0 -

Yay, you're stuff is coming
Just looking at the cost of filters nowI read one person said the filter designed on this fountain is flawed but I haven't heard anyone else back this up yet.
Mine has to be a house cat, so he doesn't have any puddles, I'm sure he would do the same given the opportunity though. So so SO tired of being ripped off, and mislead

That one looks like there is more movement in the water, so it is interesting to know some of the cats still aren't bothered. Do you find any of them play with the water? Mine loves to make a mess that's the main thing that has put me off trying in the past.
They don't seem to play with it - just ignore it. The catmate one has three levels on it which was great when we first got it as three of them would drink from it at the same time but they don't do that anymore. My youngest one has more fun pushing the other bowl - one of these where you put water inside and turn it upside down so it dispense while the cat drinks - across the kitchen floor splashing water everywhere!0
