I'm 80 words into a 1600+ essay that needs to be written by friday... what am i going to do?? Do you reckon they'll give me an extention due to Black Friday? :cool:

Yes, that's what I'm clicking - then it gives me a box to tick to say which items I want to cancel, and select a reason - but then when I enter, there's nothing to say they acknowledge what I've done.

LOL, that was me last year trying to get my dissertation finished. I ended up staying up til the early hours every night to get it done.

I ended up throwing the Lego back too, cheaper at tesco. I'm not in a rush for it tho seeing as its for next christmas :rotfl:

i think i must be the only person who doesnt have a clue whats going on!! plz be kind.

i click on the tab that says 'todays deals' and it just shows me a few items reduced not this ' lightning deals??' do they just randomly pop up on the screen or are the items shown the ones that go into the sale? any help would be great as you can tell im pretty useless thanks

Make sure you click the little blob next to the item too before you click the final Cancel button (I always forget to do that!!!)

Check the email address linked to your account. Have you had a message at all to say that they would try and cancel it? Amazon emailed me a confirmation of cancellation.

Missed out on the laptop and the waitlist is full. I'm still assuming there will be people on the wait list who won't want it so what happens - do they put the wait list back on or do they just re-list the laptop? TIA!
