I think it's a case of them trying to sell ANYTHING at the moment. By chucking in the rubbish items they are hoping that somebody will buy them but the problem is they are lacking the big hook of a huge bargain to get people to look in the first place. I think they are relying on customer's who did well last year to come back and have a look again. Unfortunately, some people are getting disappointed and may not even return next year if it doesn't get any better.

I have only bought three items, but they were things I wasn't intending to by so I suppose it has worked on me. :o

I remember sitting here last year for ages and ages just waiting , hoping, tapping furiously to get it to add to basket, all that has gone and the prices are higher, there is a big wide web out there trying in this recession to offer us hard to beat prices and they are beating the amazon prices, the thrill has gone.

Last year I managed to get a few lego stuff, lego stuff I did not manage to get in the sainsburys half price sale, no one really pays full price for anything these days do they?

So far I have got the calvin Klein obsession and that is it, did have the boots but decided not because with boots you really need to tru them on, good price but good price at Clarks, outlets shops, ebay etc so yes good price but not good enough;)

    Peter Rabbit is still dear!

especially as it's £30 from the book people... (& there's a 10% code around to reduceit further).
Smile and be happy, things can usually get worse!

    Ooh I AM SO PLEASED :j :j :j

Remember the NYDJ jeans - 165.00 from yesterday on Black Friday price of 50 pounds? well, I ordered them and it said to order them in a size smaller than you usually wear. I am a 10 in jeans so, against my better judgement I did as they said and ordered the 8 - all night worrying that these gorgeous jeans will turn up and I won't be able to even get them up my legs! and it will be their fault

They just arrived (all yesterdays Black Friday stuff arrived today :T) and I took them out of the big box, beautifully made, went to try them on and WOW eeeeee they are perfect !!!! stunning, fit like a damn glove and look so good. I am so pleased ... :p can't wait for the Timberlands I ordered today to arrive, they will look fab with these black jeans.

I think Black Friday this year is brilliant :D

I am so pleased for you:j:j one thing that stopped me from getting the boots was that if they were black it would go with more than the colour brown, I have both black and brown boots and always seem to wear the black ones far more than the brown ones plus I am supposed to be on here looking for presents for OH and kids not me:rotfl::rotfl:

Only thing I have bought this year is the Pheonix Night box set for around £6.80. Quite a good deal though as they seem to be £12+ most other places.

Bought the massive box of chocs last year for £5 if anyone remembers them? Theres nothing like that this year, seems to be things they cant sell when they are usually on their website. Saw tomorrows email too and nothing seems to stand out either :/

I'd forgotten about them! Fab bargain - couldn't believe how big the box was when it arrived! My favourite too - Guylian! :T
