Returned Sat Nav Via Courier Now Gone Missing!

I had a Blaupunkt sat nav from look again mail order last february,up until recently it worked fine then the voice stopped giving directions and the maps didnt show properly,rung look again who arranged for a courier (parcelnet) to come and collect and told me they would repair or replace it.
This was collected on jan 11th I have a tracking number and reciept for the collection,look again are now saying they havent recieved it back:mad:
what can i possibly do I've tried contacting parcelnet but had no joy,this thing cost me £379.00 and all I've got is a reciept to say it was collected from me

  • It is up to Look Again to sort this out as it was them that employed parcelnet to do the pick up

  • I've rung look again twice today and they just keep fobbing me off.
    between the sat nav being collected and their warehouse it has vanished into thin air,they seem to have an "oh well" attitude,if it was a £10 item I would probably put it down to a bad experience but I cant afford to lose that much money and I need the sat nav for work
    what can I do to sort this I have thought about ringing the police and stating it was stolen but would they do anything?
  • Not heard of parcelnet but if they are a courier company they must/should be able to provide a POD (proof of delivery), if they can't then they ain't delivered it and so must be responsible for the loss.

    Looks like you need to start writing letters to bosses rather then being fobbed off on phone

    edit : ah sorry I see so seller, arranged collection
    either way, its time to start putting things down in writing to someone higher up the food chain
  • well its been almost a month now,14 phone calls and im constantly being fobbed off,theyve finally located the sat nav but all the communication is from me and so one sided,I have to ring,I have to email,I have to send recorded letters,to top it all off I'm still without a sat nav,its still on my bill and they have even charged me a late return fee (after the 14 day home approval period) of £4.95,rung again today asked whats going on got told to give them another 7 days!!!
    dont know what to do now totally fed up with it :(
