Cheapest train journey from Billericay to London?

Hi,

I am starting a new job in London, Regent Street and am looking for the cheapest monthly season rail fare from Billericay to Oxford Circus.

The Billericay train passess Shenfield and Stratford, then arrives at London.

I can either
1. Get off at Stratford and get the tube to Oxford Circus (Oyster card?)
2. Get the train to Liverpool Street and get the tube to Oxford Circus.

What would be the best option to do? I have rung the fares line and it is cheaper to go to Stratford and get the tube on an Oyster, but I am wondering if anyone has any great tips to try and get the fare down?!

I will be travelling at peek times.

If you're only buying a monthly ticket then it may be hard to get a good deal. Look at either a monthly travelcard or season ticket to Liverpool St then an Oyster.
If your only travel in London will be the tube journey to Oxford Circus then the Oyster option should be cheaper.
