My firefox browser has gone funny, I click on something, and then , like 2 or 3 seconds later the action happens?? I have deleted and reinstalled it but its still the same. Opera & IE are still working fine, what would cause this please?

Try running it with a new profile - http://www.mozilla.org/support/firefox/profile
Could be a misbehaving extension so try running FF in safe mode (http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode) and if that fixes the problem run it normally and then disable one extension at a time to see which one caused the problem.0 -
The new profile worked Chippy, imported my bookmarks and all is well
