Ahh bra issue!

Hi folks.
A quick question for you please :D
I bought an Ahh bra from a seller on ebay. I went by the size guide in the sellers description. Now it's arrived, and it doesn't fit. Seller states in return policy, that she doesn't accept returns due to hygiene reasons. She also states that she only takes returns if faulty/not as described.
Well it is as described, can't deny that.
What do I do next?
Can the distance selling regulation come in to play at all?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks!

Assuming she is a business seller then the DSRs still apply.Personally though I owuld go for a SNAD as size does not accurately reflect listing .

  • There are no exemptions under DSR for underwear

As Soolin says SNAD will be a much easier route.

  • Thanks folks! I wasn't sure. I mean, she sent what she said she was going to. It has the correct size on it that I ordered. On another side note, I'm not sure if it is the genuine thing. Has anyone ever had one at all? I know there are lot selling that are "In the style of" but this definitely didn't say that. Is there any way of telling?
    Thanks again everyone

I wouldn't worry, just open a SNAD claim and when you are told to return it send it back fully tracked.

You are entitled to a refund for any reason whatsoever

I assume they either re package it and pretend it is brand new, or charity shop it. Places like La Senza certainly just put their bras straight back out again.

  • There is nothing unhygienic about a bra...maybe a nursing bra but not a bra. I mean, men try on/wear T shirts which are in direct contact with their nipples/chest without it being an issue so why would there be any issue with a bra?

Besides which, it is not as described so you will win a dispute if the seller won't cooperate under the DSRs...

Not just t-shirts, but regular shirts also make male-nipple contact. I've worn loads of second hand shirts, and have never caught any strange nipple to nipple diseases. I'm happy to buy second hand clothing provided it's been properly washed.

    @Soolin - TBH that's what I thought would happen.

Those bras are truly rubbish. I bought some from a shopping channel, supposedly in my size, and I couldn't even get them on!
