I'm looking to exchange today.Everything is in place except a reply to an enquiry on my purchase.How is best to get things moving on this?The EA contacted the vendor's solicitor to request the reply to the enquiry and so has my solicitor at the end of the day last Friday.My solicitor is incredibly slow to do anything,seems…

What I meant is that the answer was 'no' and that shouldve raised no further questions (unless the solicitor believed differently, from some other information).Amazing they didnt let me know exchange wouldnt take place due to there being nobody legally qualified to exchange.Also ended up chasing and finding the answer to their query myself.
