    2 points.

    1. This is the Daily Mail.

    2. Quote from the end of the article states:

An npower spokesman acknowledged that a door lock had been drilled out but that 'both the dog and the door were inspected prior to leaving by both the police and the agent and were deemed to be fine'.

    Another Mail spin then.

I think you need to retitle your thread the baliffs weren't direct employees of npower. So your title should be Ballifs/Thugs.

Everyone knows bailiffs are arseholes. Npower might want to be a bit more careful which firms they appoint in future but I should imagine they're all much of a muchness.

I think the title is accurate enough. If you hire thugs you are a thug.

They were appointed by npower. npower are claiming their actions were acceptable. I would think npower need to take responsibility here, whether the pay them directly or not.

Mail spin or not; the last time i checked, the police weren't qualified to check a dog was ok. Does that mean that the next time I have a problem with one of mine, i can nip it down to the police station instead of the vet?
