Bought a (faulty???) purse from ASOS

in August and it's pretty much fallen apart already
Is it worth emailing them or has it been too long since I bought it for them to do anything?
I don't want my money back, I just want the purse fixed (or a replacement would be good!)
Thanks

It's worth a shot. The worst they can do is say no."Beautiful young people are accidents of nature, But beautiful old people are works of art."

Within the first 6 months from the date of purchase, it's the retailer's job to prove that the purse did not have any inherent manufacturing defect. I believe it has been only 4 months so write to them and they will have to prove that you accidentally damaged it.
Please read sale of goods act from Money Saving Expert website. Sorry I can't post links because I am a new user0 -
What do you mean by 'fallen apart'? How much did you pay?0

It was £45 so not just a cheap one I could replace and not think about. By falling apart I mean exactly that. The stitching has come undone, doesn't hold coins securely as they just fall out the side and the clip that's supposed to close the purse doesn't hold it shut anymore.
I emailed asos and they said return it (free of charge) and they'll have a look and decide whether it's down to general wear and tear (it's clearly not) or whether it's a manufacture issue so hopefully they'll send me a new one
