Simple question, but despite googling can't find the answer.
Working 30hr since Feb (covering mat. leave).
Last Monday reverted to contracted hours of 27 and advised TC accordingly.
Have tonight received Monday's TC payment (which reflects the loss of the 30hr element) - all good so far.
My question is:- will there be a balancing payment as the amount is recalculated for the remainder of the tax year?
I haven't made many changes to my claim over the years but any changes have usually generated a balancing payment.
Will that be the case this time?
Thanks
BiB

Probably - when you report a drop in income they don't usually backdate it to the start of the year so when you get the paperwork there'll probably be a "potential payment" on it, which will be paid on renewal if your estimate was correct.0
