Recently claimed for MPP after being made redundant on 23rd November 06. Started work back on 15th January 07 and Insurance company still haven't paid up.
My cover was a 'from day one' policy. They are constantly giving excuses mainly because I was only at my last job for 6 months saying they still haven't heard back from job previous to last.
I am concerned they wont pay up because from leaving my previous to last job, which also involved redundancy, I claimed 1 weeks JSA before I started my last job in May 06. Can any1 advise if this would affect my claim?

was it a from day one after a 30 or 60 qualifying period. In other words, you have to be off for 30/60 days before they backdate it to day one?I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Day one after 30 days policy.
i.e. out of work 30 days>send in a claim after that date>payment made from first day of un-employment.0
