How Do They Know Where Your Car is Parked?

Just been there today and trying to work out how this system works (or will work-it's not fully operational yet I believe). Obviously they take a pic of your number plate as you go through the barrier, and link it up to an ANPR system-but how do they know exactly which bay you've parked in? There are 5,000 spaces, and I can't believe every one is visible to the security cameras? And it can't be radio tagged via the plastic token that the machine delivers, as you would not leave necessarily leave that in the car.
Can anyone enlighten me please?

Unless they have adopted the same system as in their Australian car parks:
The ANPR system is used to determine which zone of the car park your car is in, as the cameras are linked to a computer system and the system will detemine which area your car is in based on the camera you passed last.
The photo will be from the entry barrier.

I believe the App Store does GPS apps for this as well so in theory you don't have to use their system?
In theory you could take a picture of your car on Floor it is on. Floor 3 Green Door and put it into your Evernote, Notes section on Iphone of Take photo with Phone, and write down where exactly your car is.
I think this is a good idea but it is also potentially very intrusive.
