Hi guys
,
I'm having some trouble with my new router.
my problem is with my laptop and xbox 360, i am only achieving 65mb rate on my laptop but with my older router i was achieving higher speeds (150mb) also with my older router the connection to my xbox was stronger, now with the new one (which is supposed to be better) is less strong.
my older router was a N wireless router (belkin).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Caz.

You might try changing the wireless frequency of the router, the fact that the old one connected at 150Mb and the new one connects at 65Mb will make no difference to your internet performance which if ADSL will be considerably less than either. That gum you like is coming back in style.0

I have tried this. disabling the 5ghz radio also. set the security to wpa/wpa2 psk.
also now on my laptop i have 2 connections which seem to be the same, but one is unsecured public network and can't be disabled or deleted.
i have tried a hard reset of the router and every time i reconnect the same 2 wireless connections appear.0
