  • Good evening :D

I have not been too successful on the flying front, but I have ordered 2 main presents (for DD1 & DD2) and reserved a present for DS from Argos (DH to pick it up, hopefully) :j:j At least we have started now :o I am now about £580 poorer  We don't normally spend that much, but DD2 needs a camera for her photography A level - and they don't come cheap!! DD1's present was alot cheaper, but we are thinking of getting her a new laptop for her birthday in February, so it all evens out eventually.

I think I will have an early night, as I need to get up & organised in the morning (bin day).

Hugs & spoons to those that need them, especially Vanilla & LW. I hope the blood test goes well tomorrow.

    Night night all.

Hex ouchie!:( I narrowly missed my bare foot when I dropped a kitchen knife earlier this evening; looks like you weren't so lucky. (((HUG))) Take care, and I hope it's better soon.

Looks like Level 2 for tomorrow is covered;:j Mr LW did all the floors on Sunday (as he always does on the weekend):A and I can put hand on heart and say that we have NO hotspots anywhere in the bungalow.:o

We'll just have to see how woozy I am when I get back tomorrow, as to what else I manage - Hellyboo I've had a couple of canine guests with diabetes; I was OK with the insulin in the fridge, but I couldn't look at the needles at all. Thankfully Mr LW is happy to do doggy insulin "injeculations" as he calls them.;)

Going to play Skyrim for an hour or so, then try for a reasonably early night, as we have to be up before sparrowfart tomorrow.:D
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

  • Completely lost Flylady off the board then!!!! It completely disappeared (or I was man-looking).

I have spent far too much time trying to get rid of the stench of cat from the shower room. Went in there this morning and the vile little beast had left 11 mini packages of nastiness on the floor, starting from 1 foot away from the litter tray and going round the edges of the room. So I used all but a tiny bit of the rest of the box of biological washing powder, scrubbing that into the floor. And I still think I can smell cat. It wouldn't bother me if she couldn't help it, but she is NOT ILL, and judging by the way she's snoring on the armchair, not stressed either

Anyway, did that, put loads of stuff out for the bin (and it still looks like a bombsite in the kitchen) and then went to Minion's school for a singing competition.

She looked beautiful, her singing was perfectly in tune (the judge even remarked about how perfect it was) and I am told that the boys in the class realised she was a girl today. They wolf whistled when she walked in after putting on her costume (a purple rockabilly/psychobilly dress) and made a fuss of her - but when the other girls walked in, they didn't.

They didn't win the competition, but I'm happy anyway, because I got to actually hear Minion sing by herself in front of tons of other people - and she was obviously very comfortable onstage. (proud mum moment, especially as a lot of the kids were shuffling around looking as though they would rather be in double maths or hung, drawn and quartered than around music and dancing). Proud mum moment part two came about as we were leaving, and she made a point of speaking to some of the other kids who took part and was congratulating them and saying how good they were. Amazingly friendly and supportive of her! [thud]

Came home to open an email offering me a ongoing position in the house band at the second club.

Yep. One half day rehearsals, one full day a month of musicing. Guaranteed (as much as anything can be). List of bookings until May 2012.

    .

    .

Next to no money - a share of the whip, not wages.

    .

    .

.A whole load of stress. All to just twit about on stage for a couple of hours.

    Morning All

Jojo - well done to your daughter - and well done to you too.

    So far this morning

    WM emptied and reloaded
    TD emptied and reloaded
Loads of clothes folded ready for ironing.

I think the dishes are the next point of call.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

    Jue
