Working Tax Credit and ESA overlap

Hi all,
I know that one is allowed to claim working tax credit as well as ESA for a number of weeks after becoming ill. Does anyone here know how many weeks one can claim both before having to discontinue the WTC element?
Many thanks in advance!

You can continue to claim WTC for for the first 28 weeks that you're off work providing you meet the criteria. You have an obligation to inform HMRC of any chance of circumstances. 30 days to appeal decision.Don't thank me, thank my post :T
