Damage caused by British Gas during cavity wall installation

Options
My mother (who is a Senior citizen) had cavity wall installation fitted for free, under the British gas scheme, earlier this year (in March).During the work, they accidentally broke a wall light (which incidentally was of great sentimental value). The fitters said that BG would pay for it to be repaired, but fortunately, I insisted she got this in writing from BG, before paying ou the money. She went to considerable trouble to find a replacement light fitting, and paid an electrician to install it. She sent off all the paperwork to BG in May, but has still not been reimbursed the 100+ pounds.

The telephone number on the letter they sent her is now unavailable. She has re-written to them, but no response. On Wednesday, a customer service person called, because they realised that my mother had not given the standard satisfaction feedback afte the work. She explained the problem, and the lady from BG was very apologetic, and promised to have someone call my mum on Thursday afternoon. Of course, no-one has called since....

Does anyone have any experience of damage caused by British Gas, and have a number, or preferably email address, to the right department, to get this money back? Or the email address of the CEO?!

Thanks.
