NPB case problem

It's been a week, I've sent 2 invoices, and tried to open a case, but the system just doesn't seem to be working. I was offered the opportunity to let ebay do it on my behalf, but having completed the form, it told me it would do so on 8/12. Wow, that's a long time off.
What am I doing wrong?

I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.
Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.

Have you set up the automatic opening of cases, if so maybe you've set it for weeks rather than days.0

Try logging out and logging in again.
The automatic thingy doesn't work for me at all, but at least it allows me to open a case manually still after 4 days.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. You were right, it was the bid thingy, it is set at 232 days (!), with no option to change it. So I've gotten rid of that and opened a case manually.
Now to the next question.... Do I wait till the date they said I have to before
I relist? I've never done an NPB before, I don't sell much. Once the case is closed, do I presume the buyer has left it too late to pay? Assuming they've not gotten their act together by then. Thing is, I don't really want to sell to someone who hasn't paid until forced to, in case there's problems after the event.I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Now it is open wait 4 days and then it will show that you can close the case and get your FVFs back. Don't do anything more until then. Once case is closed then relist.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
